Is glowing skin too much to ask for? A late night leads to dark circles in the morning. Got an upcoming special event? There are many beauty products that you can try, but they are not always enough as we can't get beautiful skin overnight.

HEALTHY HABITS

DON'T: Neglect your facial muscles and jawline. Perform a few facial exercises for at least 5 minutes a day. For instance, you can look up towards the ceiling and pout, or jut out your lower lip in that way wrinkles are created on the chin, then lower your chin to the chest. Both exercises stretches out the muscles making your skin more firm.

DO: Try to avoid stress as much as you can, and take some time to be alone. When you feel stressed, you tend to break out more. Stress causes your body to produce cortisol, making your skin oily. Meditation, yoga and breathing exercises are ideal ways to practice stress management. The more you exercise - the more you will feel relaxed. Smile more often! We spend so much time on layering clothes and applying makeup, and we forget to express our inner joy and happiness. Smiling will help maintain the tone of your facial muscles and skin.

H2O

DON'T: Ignore rose water, as it hydrates your skin, maintains pH balance and reduce and prevent eye puffiness in the morning.

DO: Drink water - at least 8 glasses a day. Also, you should eat veggies and fruits that have a high water content such as cantaloupe, grapefruit, strawberry, orange, cucumber, watermelon. Some studies show that we should all drink water from a blue colored bottle, since it has a cooling effect.

GOODBYE ACNE

DON'T: Pop pimples - can lead to scarring, redness and swelling. If you feel that pimple are on their way, just clean the area using rose water and place a chilled green tea bag for 10 min. Also, if you wear glasses or sunglasses, don't forget to clean them often to keep oil from clogging the pores around your nose and eyes.

DO: Wash your face with warm water, 3 times a day and massage your face gently, ensuring that the cleanser you are using is appropriate for your skin type. After cleansing, pat dry and apply a lotion with benzoyl peroxide.
